Random Acts of Kindness Day

Sharing a post from two years ago in observation of Random Acts of Kindness day. In a world filled with constant strife and unrest, we must do our part to pause and pay it forward whenever possible to keep the positive energy circulating around us. Remember, an act of kindness, no matter how big or small, can come back to you even stronger, when you least expect it.

Let’s do our part in making the world a kinder place.

Do you have a story for a random act of kindness? Please share below.

  1. Imagine how great the world would be if each person did a random act of kindness once a day or once week, rather than just on one particular day.
Kindness shouldn’t be just because the calendar said so or for any kind of glory or recognition.
I dislike those videos on social media where people record themselves being kind of those less fortunate.

    1. Hi Julian, totally agree. Kindness should be something we practice every day. However, the beauty of a day being dedicated to recognizing the importance of being kind can allow us to go the extra mile and make a conscious effort to do something particularly kind. In the busyness of everyday life, the intent might always be there to pay it forward, but with the chaos around you and so much always going on, you might not get around to doing it. A dedicated day is a way to try and prioritize that. Much like Valentine’s day – of course, we should show our love and adoration to our significant others all the time, but it doesn’t hurt to have a day set aside to amplify that feeling. It’s all about personal preference. 🙂
