Summer – The Last Stretch

Hello lovelies, here we are in August – just like that. I hope you’re all keeping well and healthy and have had a good summer thus far. It really does come and go so fast.

I’m not known to be much of a poet, but here’s my take on welcoming August in a nutshell. Enjoy 🙂

August is here

The “Sunday” of summer

When the cooler air starts to settle in

And pollen and ragweed make you suffer

The sneezing gets more frequent, and the sniffling intensifies

And before you know it

You just want to curl up in a ball and cry

But don’t fret

Because September is around the corner

The dawn of a new beginning

The start of the changing fall colours

So enjoy these remaining days of summer

Be grateful, be present

Embrace those bonds and savour each moment
