Very profound words. And so very true.

A milestone is just that. A milestone.  A moment, marking a significant part in our life, permanently engraved in time. That moment happened when the Toronto Maple Leafs ended a 19-year streak by advancing to Round 2 of the playoffs over the weekend.

Let’s not overshadow the significance of this milestone. For almost two decades, the journey has abruptly ended after Round 1 – and this time, it hasn’t. The door is still open, the path is still illuminated, and the fresh scent of optimism and hope is still in the air. 

And as Auston Matthews so eloquently states, ‘This is one step towards where we want to be.’ It’s one step towards manifesting a dream 50+ years in the making. 

So let this be a reminder to always be proud of every single accomplishment in your life. No victory is insignificant enough to not be celebrated. Every step is another clasp secured in place for your future. Every experience helps mold a part of who you are today and who your future self will be.

Believing in yourself is about taking the next step without seeing the entire staircase ahead of you. When there is a will, there is always a way.

Congratulations to the Toronto Maple Leafs for winning Round 1 of the playoffs. With that same tenacity and dedication, our team has what it takes to go the entire way. Round 2, bring it on. Go Leafs Go!
