A Year Later, I Have YOU To Thank

As this coming Monday, October 10, happens to be Canadian Thanksgiving, the timing of this post couldn’t be more fitting.

A year ago, I took a course on digital communications with the larger goal being to further my own professional credentials. On a personal level, I had always wanted to blog but just couldn’t quite find that added push that I needed in order to really get the ball rolling. As it turned out, the main assignment for this particular course was to create a blog. I then had my “aha” moment and knew immediately that the blog meant for the class was going to go far beyond that.

Now, a year later, I am truly humbled at how far my blog has come. It would certainly not have blossomed the way it has without the support from you, my amazing readers.

You help fuel the fire in me anytime I get that itch to write.

To show my sincere gratitude, I recorded a brief video.

Disclaimer:  I do apologize in advance for the quality of the video. It was my first pass at recording video and I hope to get better at it over time. 🙂

Thank you.

  1. I did as you suggested and put my headphones on and it was much more audible.
Your video was very heartwarming and I think it will help you connect even more with your readers. Additionally, your voice is quite lovely and you speak well.

  2. How exciting! It’s cool when you reach little milestones like this, isn’t it? 🙂 congratulations on the anniversary!
I’m obviously new around here, but excited to see what you’ve got! We both seem to be working with a very similar goal in mind – to spread happiness around the world – so this should be a great exchange, I hope!

    1. Hi Johanna! Thank you so much for the feedback, I truly appreciate it! Yes, we can never have too much happiness or positivity in this world! And it’s only better when you’re spreading that joy with others! 🙂 Thank you for the follow and I too look forward to commiserating about all things happy! 🙂

  3. Wow, I’m from the same field. Even I pursued Mass communication way back in college. Recently, I switched into Digital Marketing. I feel its the best choice that I could ever make, its a great field to indulge yourself in!
